CaSE leaders and emerging leaders came together for our 2026 Leadership Day, which was an opportunity to step away from active project delivery and focus on alignment, capability and the future of the business.
As CaSE continues to expand across regions and technical disciplines, maintaining clarity of direction and consistency in leadership is essential. Leadership Day provides a structured forum for reflection, shared insight and strategic discussion across our engineering teams.
Rather than concentrating on project-level detail, the sessions focused on how leadership decisions influence delivery outcomes, margin discipline, collaboration and client confidence.
Importantly, the day included both established leaders and emerging leaders from across the business. Developing leadership depth within our civil, structural and digital teams ensures resilience and continuity as CaSE continues to grow internationally.
We were pleased to welcome Holly McGhee and Andrew Warren-Smith from EY, whose session on shaping the future with confidence encouraged leaders to reflect on mindset, adaptability and clarity in a changing market.
We also thank Michael Eager, Dan Taylor, Orla O’Sullivan, Jason Morris and members of our Business Development panel for leading practical discussions grounded in the realities of infrastructure delivery.
A particular thank you to Ed Riley, who shared a valuable perspective on business development within the engineering and construction sector. His session reinforced that sustainable growth is built on trusted relationships, industry reputation and meaningful engagement; principles that align closely with our contractor-focused approach.
The day was hosted by Colin Calder and Nicola Mills, who reinforced the importance of leadership alignment as CaSE continues to evolve across regions. We also acknowledge the coordination behind the scenes to deliver a seamless event.
Leadership Day serves as a strategic checkpoint that strengthens alignment, reinforces accountability and ensures our technical leaders are equipped to support teams and clients effectively.
As CaSE continues to deliver complex civil and structural engineering solutions across global infrastructure projects, leadership capability remains a core driver of performance.
