The CaSE team is proud to be working with a collection of our industry's best on the Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade in Brisbane. As Brisbane continues to grow, complex projects such as this are vital to the sustainability of the city's infrastructure.
Teamwork truly does make the dream work. Kingsford Smith Drive is one of the key roads for traffic travelling through to Brisbane Airport. The upgrade involves road widening from four to six lanes.
CaSE provided Structural Project Engineers to the project who were responsible for planning, coordinating and managing insitu high strength concrete pours for the construction of the cantilever road structure.
The structure itself, sitting on more than 150 piles was very much a marine project using crane barges to lift in the 50-tonne precast concrete cantilever panels.
