The Dubai Metro Blue Line is a 30 km rapid transit link scheduled to open on 9 September 2029. It connects the existing Red and Green Lines across Dubai, extending access to key districts such as Mirdif, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Dubai Creek Harbour, while providing a new connection to Dubai International Airport.
The alignment includes approximately 15.5 km of underground track and 14.5 km ofelevated track, supported by 14 new stations, including major interchanges at Creek,Centrepoint, and International City.
The Blue Line will also introduce Dubai’s first metro bridge over the Creek and a landmark signature station at Dubai Creek Harbour. With an expected daily capacity of around 320,000 passengers by 2040, the project supports the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and is the first transport project in the city to target a Platinum Green Building rating, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable development
Our Scope:
CaSE ME has been appointed by MLCC Blue Line Contracting LLC, the main contractor, to provide independent design verification services for the temporary works. The scope includes the design and verification of prestressed segmental concrete props used for balanced cantilever erection, pier collars for the installation of precast pier head shells, and other temporary structural systems that support the safe and efficient assembly of the permanent work
