CaSE Design provided structural assessment and certification support for Proa Energy’s MetCube, a fully autonomous weather station developed for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Designed in Australia for the development, construction and operation of renewable plants, the MetCube integrates weather monitoring, soiling measurement, automated sensor cleaning, water recycling, wireless communications and SCADA integration to support consistent, independent site data.
Our role focused on verifying that the MetCube structure and associated components met relevant Australian structural design requirements, supporting safe deployment across Australian solar farm environments.
For the Mulwala Solar Farm installation, CaSE Design certified the as-built documentation for MetCube IDs MC-035 and MC-037 as being in accordance with the certified design documentation, based on the supplied drawings, installation photographs and supporting geotechnical information.
By providing independent structural review and certification, CaSE Design helped support the scalable deployment of Proa Energy’s monitoring technology across solar farm projects, contributing to the reliability of infrastructure that underpins accurate performance monitoring. .
