With over 30 years of experience Rod's career includes significant national and international experience both on the contractor side as well as on client side of the industry.  For the first part of his career he, worked through the ranks of Tier 1 and 2 construction and engineering companies to positions of Project Management, Operations Management then onto General Management of Tier 2 firms.

He then for five years was CEO of the Civil Contractors Federation Victoria. After 11 years of reporting to boards of directors, he has concentrated his career leading the major and more complicated projects by applying a unique array of broad company wide, organisational and project skills to the needs of major projects. Since 2008 these projects total in excess of $2B in the development and delivery stages and in excess of $4.5B in the pre contract stages. During the 1990s and 2000s his work also included being a major industry contributor in the outsourcing and privatisation of government services.
